Just to let you you all know, my flight is booked, golf booked and no ash cloud. By 3pm tomorrow i'll be in the Algarve and by 3.30pm on friday I'll be teeing it up at Gramacho, then later in the week at Pinta. The cost of the golf is a knee trembling 28 & 31 euro's respectively. The forecast is a sunny 28 with light breeze. Don't care what the standard of golf is like as long as it's followed by several Super Bock or crystal and then maybe some BBQ'd sardines.

Just thought I woudl let you all know.

Where did you manage them green fees? Staying in Pestana are you?

We are in Carvoiero in a luxury Villa with 16 hairy arsed men and will maybe play one of those although Morgado may get a look at a credit crunch busting 35E per person with buggy deal! :)

Them green fee's are for the twillight rounds which start at 3.30pm which is fine for me. It's a no bainer when the normal price shoudl be 90E.

I'm staying in a villa in Ferragudo with one hairy arsed woman unfortunately (oh and a couple of kids)
 
yeah, thanks for that :( Not played Gramacho but Pinta is really good. Another in the chain a few miles inland is Silves which although new is quite interesting and was cheap too when we were there a couple of years ago.
