Google Chrome bookmarks bar (just for info)

The no.1 bookmark on my Google Chrome Bar is Golf Monthly Forums.

Except, now the link doesn't work.

I've edited it (and it works), but I'm confused, has the web address changed?

I had to delete it and then add a new bookmark, so I dont know if the addy had changed or what

I thought about doing this. Trouble is, I'd have lost it from no.1 to about 100th down the list....

My Chrome has 8 "main" tabs and the rest are on a pull-down menu. I didn't want it in there!

Why not just move it back to the main bar?

The parent address is still the same (http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk) but the old one used to automatically redirect to http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk/phpbb or something similar. Which is why old bookmarks may not work.

I have been with a broken laptop and off line for three weeks, I come back and everything has changed. I wasnt sure if it was a setting in the new install of chrome displaying GM differently or if the forum had changed format. I had only just got used to the old format, but I like this nice new clean look.

Why not just move it back to the main bar?

Yes. I didn't realise you could drag a bookmark onto the main bar.
