Had today off so after some jobs at home had arranged 18 holes with my mate Doug.
Thankfully he had his cart with him, so I hoped on, as it was 33.6 degrees when we teed off at one.
Usual matchplay( Giving 6 shots away ) for a dollar and I went 2 up after 2 but for him to get it to al square after 7 and to be 2 up after 10.
Made some good pars on 11, 12 , 13, birdie on 15 par 16 to be 2 down with 2 to play. We halved the 17 th with par and I pared the last for a 78.
Then played another 5 holes for the fun of it.
Caught up a 4 ball on 7 and let through on 8 th tee and that was it, glimpses of golfers in the distance.
Just a shame the bar was not open for a cold one
