If you are planning on sending anything through the post office, best do it before the 1st of April.
I was told yesterday that as from then, the cost of posting my V-Easy will double

People will start to think that I work for this company, but Parcels2go will do it MUCH cheaper, can insure them and certain services will pick up from you, rather than having to queue up with the proletariat.

Sadly I work for these muppets and were constantly baffled by the constant price changes etc

My wife runs her own business, she prints various things, tee shirts, mugs, engraves keyrings etc and the cost of sending a mug will more than double meaning she won't really sell any mugs anymore, or she's gonna have to go with a different company, but there in means she loses the convenience of her buyers just being able to pop to the local office to collect if they happen to be out,

Its a small price to pay for keeping her business running though and I really can't defend Royal Mail as they really keep on shooting themselves in the foot by penalising people for sending things

I posted a club the other day and the assistant told me that all the charges were changing - but she had no idea by how much or anything else remotely useful...

Dont tell me that ............. I've got 120 of them to shift!

That's probably something to do with the fact they don't have the new prices themselves yet, knowing my lot they'll get them the day the new charges start

We all know where this is going, hike prices, make RM unpopular and have more people using couriers, run RM into the ground then offload it to a private buyer who Cameron and his cronies happen to have lots and lots of shares in. Privatise RM. Bingo! another government company sold for peanuts, mass redundancies but another million in the bank for the insider traders.

Mmmmmmmmm ....... I will put you down as a "don't know" for the next election then!

Recently bought an item on fleabay. The seller said he posted it first class. After 2 weeks I complained. The seller didn't reply. I gave him bad feedback. He called me a liar. I made a claim on PayPal. I got my money back. Six weeks later the item arrived. Clearly marked first class. Clearly first class paid for. Six weeks for an envelope posted first class. I had to collect it from the local sorting office because it was too big for my letterbox. On the wall there were 4 posters about not tolerating abuse of their staff. Fair enough but I wonder why??? Send stuff out every day at work. Always use APC overnight. Great service. The Post Office used to be great but they can't compete on parcels nowadays. They have been too militant and they have not kept up with the times. Sad but true.

I'm weary about most delivery services these days, especially Royal Mail/parcelforce

I'm waiting on a putter from Allylodge and he said I should have it Wednesday or Thursday and I'm still waiting. He said it has been sitting a a depot awaiting dispatch.

If they can't deliver on time why do they bother at all
