Good Golf Continues.

As the title said i'm having a bit of an Indian Summer this season with my golf it started at the end of August and is still going strong.
I,ve only managed 3 comps during that time due to work patterns but i've had 2 rounds bang on my handicap and 1 small cut which has brought me back to 10.
The past 2 bounce games 1 at my club in a Thursday knock about i shot 75 and hoovered the cash with much grumblings from the guys in the squad and shot 79 today at Panmure.
I'm starting to notice the work i did in my lessons with my Pro coming to fruit ,just a couple of small points but its got me hitting my irons i would say the best i've hit them in years.

Has anyone else been playing consistant lately? anyway i've possibly 2 or 3 sweeps left before the end of the season and i'm going to try and get back down to 9 again,here's hoping.

Good stuff Steve. You certainly hit the ball well when we played at Dundonald, especially the back 9.
I've been away on holiday and haven't hit a ball in 4 weeks so this weekend should be interesting.

Not played since 26th September and not hit many balls so not expecting miracles at the weekend. A cut in the stableford would be nice but not holding my breath

I've had a fairly good spell recently culminating in breaking 80 for the first time last weekend.

I know for a fact that your cheque writing skills are still that of a 36 handicap player!!!!!!


I'm glad you "hoovered" that cash though as it may mean that you'll pay your Machrihanish deposit.

Your damn right Kid, i think the time i never played when my son was in hospital kind of put my golf in prospective, i was to hard on myself and not enjoying it, now if i hit a bad shot i dont bother i just get on with it,its not the end of the world.
