The dreaded fade/slice that is!

Probably not is the truth, but just had my first swing lesson with the pro at my club and if not cured totally things are definitely on the mend.

Was a much better lesson than others I have previously had, hitting off the green stuff for starters and being able to watch a slo-mo video was a big plus (feel and real again Bob!).

The main problem I have been having is with the longer irons anything from 6 iron on would get progressively worse, I was trying to correct it by taking away more and more to the inside, which of course was forcing an over the top and then out to in swing.

Solution was simply to concentrate on the first 300mm (foot for anyone still dealing in old money) being on a more out path. I guess it will take a little while for this to become natural, but hey! I got plenty of time :)

that would be nice, ive had a bad slice with my 3 wood off the tee but i went to the range and changed a few things and got some consistent shots so fingers crossed.

im also going to try out an offset driver tonight to see how i fair with that
