Watched it about an hour ago. You’re right, he does get a bit excited and repetitive about this one. Best course for me is still Lofoten, gonna take a lot to knock that off my perch.

I watched it and it did look spectacular,I quite like Liam but he spoilt the video by telling us about 50 times how good it was .

Likewise, I really enjoy Golf Mates and like Liam, but he's overusing, "It's not a great shot, but I don't care. Look at this - it's the best course I've ever played" At virtually every course he's played in Scotland and Ireland in the last few weeks.

I can see the similarities with Lofoten but it would take something special to beat your epic trip there.

I like watching his channel as well but struggle to see how he can rate a course only playing 8 holes, I would have liked to see him play 18 at ours and then give an opinion.

Yea I agree, he tried to caveat his opinion by saying he had his drone up to see all the course

I tried watching it this morning but only made it to his 2nd hole before the fawning got too much (the bits of course I saw does look cracking though)
I think he believes 'if the camera's rolling I need to be talking' and because he isn't a presenter he just ends up repeating himself & as annoying as they all are when his mates are with him (talking over each other/repeating/lame puns etc) its magnified when he's on his own

Exactly this. I'm sure he is a decent guy but I find his channel very hard work to watch.

Mmm maybe , living here and playing a lot you tend to take the scenery for granted.
The course itself is tough very little roll because it rarely is bone dry like down south and playing in wind is hard going sometimes.
Given the choice give me a nice Parkland course.

The cynic in me thinks that the more you praise courses, the more chance you get invited to places to play free and that is important for content with a channel of that size. As he is not going to get the tour access or the matches with big names or the invites to Open roster or other famous courses that channels the size of Rick Shiels gets, you are then reliant on playing different courses to create variety in your content and the way you get invited to courses is to give them great PR. Not saying the course is not wonderful, nor am I saying that doing this is wrong, it is essential in the world of content creators and influencers, but it may be an explanation for the constant reminders of how good the course is.

I'm a subscriber but only really watch his course review/travel videos now. Cant stomach another "match vs Mr Barlow" or "how great is OMP" video.
Has has done some great videos too - his ones about the greenkeepers, the ones about closed courses etc where something different.
