Golfing Buddies wanted!

Hi people! I am a complete beginner and would love to meet some people to go to the driving range with and out on the course. No-one I know plays golf so I need some golfing buddies, preferably around my age? Anyone out there who also lives in South Lanarkshire or nearish?

Firstly it would help if you stated your age if that is one of your conditions, secondly are you a total Chomper or fully pledged Weekend Warrior, if your a Chomper try contacting the Wishaw Hacker but if the latter (Weekend Warrior) try contacting Hendo007

lol I'm 28 and maybe i'm being a bit restrictive so perhaps it doesnt matter what ages people are I guess. Didnt really understand some of that terminology, total chomper being someone who plays during the week? and the other just at the weekend im presuming lol but thanks for replying to my thread. I will maybe give the people you suggested a try? and Let you know how I get on!
