Anyone used them to sell your clubs? Any issues?
I notice they want credit card details just to register  seems a tad strange.

I've never bought or sold from them but they have been around for ages and are one of the more respected used golf club sites.
I don't think you should have anything to be concerned about.

YOu pay a little more but the gear is guaranteed genuine, You also have a 7 day return period - if you don't like it send it back and get a refund.
Selling to them is not good - very poor prices, you can almost always get more on eBay.
Club ratings tend to be lower than reality. Their 7/10 would make 8.5/10 on most peoples scale.
Huge choice too.
Delivered next day in a decent box that you can use to flog the club it's replacing!

Not overly practical for 99% of forum users but if you want to sell and are anywhere near SW London, if you go to their premises in New Malden (just off Shannon Corner on the A3)and take them in you can usually negotitate a much better price face to face.

Yes, used them a few times to sell. As Imurg said their buy prices are poorish but good if you can't sell elsewhere (e.g. Unusual custom fit spec). If selling Ping, use UsedPing as their price is better.

Would used them again, so ok. Plus they are closeish to where I live so I visit their store in New Malden occasionally.

Homer, or perhaps anyone else who knows - Am I right in thinking these people are the same guys who used to be Mashie Niblicks in Raynes Park many years ago?

They will usually offer derisory sums for your kit.

The last time I dealt with them, I told them I would rather smash the stuff against a brick wall than accept their insulting offer (about 1/3 retail on a current model in like new condition).

Yes. They were in Raynes Park and I think you might be right about the name.

I've used them to buy and sell.

I've had quite a few quotes from them and most of them you wouldn't be happy with, but the last time I was surprised at the prices and sold the clubs to them. Had the cheque about 5 days later.

I guess if they're getting enquiries about clubs they haven't got any or many of then their price will be better than if they've got dozens in stock.

I felt exactly the same way after they made me an offer on my 510TP a few years ago.
I sold it privately for £150 and the buyer was well pleased, the golfbidder offer was £70 !!!
On another note,a friend bought a rescue club from them, head condition was described as 8/10 yet it had a roof mark at the toe end ?

They are (no swear words)

They just gave me £300 for my MP53's that I paid £650 for in April.

Good shout about Used Ping - I will use them to flog the S56's that I stupidly bought about 3 weeks ago.

Got some decent bargains from them and from my experience, the condition of the club far exceeded my expectation.

As others have said, they are not that generous with their offers but they are a business and need to make money. Same scenario as that "webuyanycar.com" , you dont get top whack, but you get a quick and easy sale.

It is quick, easy and painless. You pay for that if you are selling. They also give low prices for current kit. For older stuff, I think the prices are more reasonable.

And you don't have to take the price offered do you?
They're running a business for Christ's Sake - why do you expect them to pay 500 quid for a 650 quid set of irons that they can only sell for 520...?? They have overheads to pay and profit to make. If you don't like the price offered, don't sell there, sell somewhere else.
