Just wondered if many of you are members of a soceity that takes new members, i'm a nomad and im trying to play a bit more at the mo and would like a more tourney/comp kinda game.

I'm in a society based in Birmingham/Solihull. We meet monthly, March to October, usually at courses in the West Midlands/Worcs/Warks area, charging around £20 on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly bunch, ages from 14 to 60ish, handicaps around 10-54.
Our next round is at Stoneleigh Deer Park on Sunday (during the England-Panama game ) - I'll post the link if you're interested.
