Has anyone been on any of the current residential golf schools and if so what did they think,i only ask as my wife would like to pay for one for my birthday pressie this year.
Never been but have always been tempted although my concern is actually practicing what you've learned. I feel that perhaps there is too much information coming at you on each aspect of the game. I'm always thinking that a course of lessons is the best way where you get time to work on the drills before moving on to another part of the game may have longer term rewrds.
Whilst I haven't been on the residential courses on offer - I have regular lessons with Mark Janes @ chessington, and he is really first class, and you won't meet anyone else with more enthusiasm for the game http://ultimategolfretreat.co.uk/
