Golf lessons Manchester area

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone could recommend where to have golf lessons around the Manchester area, I am a 16 handicapper who is wanting to cat down to 12.

I am keen to commit to at least a lesson every two weeks to start off with.

Anyone help would be appreciated.

I play at Styal and there is quite a set up there. They've got all the bells and whistles techno wise and a great driving range. I cannot speak about how good (or bad) the Pros are there, yes there is more than one, as I've never had a lesson from one, but they seem friendly enough.

Can't recommend Phil Archer enough. Ex European tour Pro, teaches out of tour x golf in Wigan or at Poulton Park Golf Club in Warrington.

Quite a few of us on here have had lessons from him. Great guy, really down to earth, not overly technical, but technical enough.

The guy I go to is James Curtis at Didsbury, a good coach and Didsbury have very good practice facilities.
