Hi guys, a friend of mine is getting married in Tunisia in march and I thought why not make a golfing trip of it at the same time??? Has anyone played the citrus or any other course in that area???

Yes and would never play again.

In fact Id never visit Tunisia again. Stinks of tom tit, the food is garbage and the people are annoying as hell.

The only good thing was the temperature of the sun and the scuba diving.

Would have to second this I'm afraid.

The worst place by a long, long chalk I've ever been on holiday.

Thankfully the wife and I were only there for a week!

Forgot to mention I could have traded in the gf for a goat, so maybe not all bad...

what was wrong with the golf and where did you play????

Course was a poor layout, greenkeepers every where, none spoke english and they wouldn't move to allow you to play.

Channels being dug around every green by woman with spoons. Assume they have not heard of a back actor.

Nothing a dozer couldn't rectify.

Played the Houda Golf and Beach Club in Monastir. Never again.

We are hoping to play the citrous which is SUPPOSED to be a championship course. thanks for your info. When I travel to this part of the world I go with NO EXPECTATIONS as I know what people are like.
