Thinking of going in April for my 50th, anybody played le touquet, and another course nearby you can recommend, probably 2 nights and 3 rounds we will try and get in

Have stayed and played Le Touquet, thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a two night three round deal staying at Le Manoir, which is right on the courses. The hotel was very good. Played Le Foret & Le Mer, thought the latter best of the two. We also played Les Pins at Hardelot which is just up the road on the way out.

This year we went to Normandy but we stopped and played at Belle Dune on the way back. Lovely course, thoroughly enjoyed it, and not too far from Le Touquet. Belle Dune is my favourite of the four I've played in that area.

Also played the Le Touquet courses, thoroughly enjoyed both courses. The town is decent too - managed to turn 5Euro into 600 in the casino. Used a freight ferry rather than the tourist one - saved a fair bit.

Played Le Foret at Le Touquet - nice enough but not special. La Mer is meant to be a bit special - take plenty of balls!

Both Hardelot are good - Les Pins being slightly better.

Belle Dune has really good reputation, but not played it.

Arras is pleasant if unspectacular, though the greens were cut super super fast just before a Ladies Tournament.

Bunch I went with had got bored with the ones in that area and went further inland to a single stay/play place L'Ailette on the Reims road. That was also very good. Interesting course that was almost deserted. 90 holes in the tree days and Arras on the way back.
