Golf In Cumbria

After talking about it for more years than I can count, the Missus and I are finally moving back north this year - probably basing ourselves in Kendal. Do we have any Cumbrian members who can share the low down on the local clubs/golf scene?

With my limited knowledge, I think Carus Green is one to look at. That is where the Golf Mates guys are based. A friend played it on a trip last year and was highly complimentary. That is as a visitor though, can't comment on there as a member.

Anyway, when you move, get a gathering organised. I'll be up for it
