All right guys. Pretty much a newbie in here and a newbie to to golf also in the grand scheme of things…I.e im still rubbish. Immigrating to oz next year what’s the courses like in south Australia and also looking for bucket list courses to play before I leave. Cheers

You don’t say where, but since you’re in Scotland, I’d go with St Andrew’s as a bucket list starter. It’s a long way back from Oz for a bucket list option that’s on your doorstep right now.

If you look at the website for the daily ballot (done 48 hrs in advance), there’s a phone number you can call (until March) to pick up any untaken slot.

I'd start with all the open venues, then:
Dornoch
Royal Aberdeen
Trump Aberdeen
Western Gailes
Gleneagles kings or Queens
And so on
