Golf Hants/Berks area

Hi all,does anyone know of any half decent clubs in the Hants/Berks area where visitors are welcome early on a weekend?

I think South Winchester, being a Crown course should accept visitors all day long. Its very popular and just off the M3 (7 mins).

Normally means 6 hour rounds at weekend - certainly does at other Crown courses (Pine Ridge & Blue Mountains)

Think your only going to get an early tee time on a municipal, probably the best one in the area I think is Pine Ridge. Apart from that, could get you on Mill Ride, but you'd have to play with yours truly, got 2 spaces at 0842 Sunday

can you not use the classic "do you know who i am?" line Mike? you could give Newbury and Crookham a shout, the pros there live in the real world and let the odd non member sneak out! ;-)

Sandford springs you can normally get on, as there is a 27hole course, so you can play 18 holes a number of ways..

Would be worth giving my place a ring, and speak to Steve in the Pro shop. Sure he would try and get you on. Sundays are usally quieter.

If you can get on to Blackmore, do it. It's a wonderful course.

Marriot Meon Valley course will accept you on a Saturday morning.

You can get on early at Dummer golf club. It is only a couple of minutes away from J7 of the M3
