ADD simple.

I take mine off and stick it in there but don't give a hoot how it looks.
Leave it on in winter ocassionally when it's cold.
If i leave it on in mild weather, my hand sweats
Maybe it sweats because you are wearing a glove in the summer!! ;)
It sweats anyway but more with a glove on. If I didn't wear the glove and my hand was sweaty, i'd probably send the club further than the ball.

I stick it in the back pocket for convenience. How it looks? No idea, I can't see.

Tried playing without a glove last summer. Gave it up after launching a club down the 6th. Not good.

I stick mine in the back pocket for ease. Never considered how it looks and to be honest I don't care. I never play without a glove as a) it form a pre-shot trigger b) I don't like the feeling in my hand c) the grips gets dirty and sweaty and d) its probably the only time I'd hit further than Murph as I have a tendency to let go in the summer when the hands are sweaty

I dont know why anyone wears a glove in the first place ?

About a year after I started playing (20yrs ago), while watching Freddie Couples win something or other, I thought 'If he can play like that without a glove, why bother ? '

Never worn one since, to me they are just an expensive item that very quickly loses its shape, and a total waste of time.
Totally agree. i stopped playing with a glove 4 years ago and found i had more control and feel of the grip. Also i found after i had taken the glove off a few times it lost its shape from the pulling of the fingers, but then again i have short stumpy fingers on bucket sized hands!! :D

Yep, another vote for no glove from me. Waste of time. I haven't used one (except in rain) for about 5/6 years with no problem at all.

Its quite a serious issue as we are all aware, the glove in the back pocket is an integral part of the game, why clubs today seem unable to keep up with the more prestigeous clubs with their full length mirrors in locker rooms I will never know, how else can golfers check the alignment of the glove before play?

It will be a very sad day indeed if the rules are changed over this issue. :p

My club is clearly still in the prestigeous category then. We have a full length mirror next to the exit from the locker room. You can check out the full ambience before setting foot on the course. Look like god, play like a ***. Why compromise.

I stick it in my back so that it's out of the way. I make sure it's flat to my backside so that it is comfortable, as for making the fingers hang down properly - if it happens it's more luck than judgement.

As for not wearing a glove-i used to be in that camp. But then I was a fair weather golfer and so didn't get wet hands and my grips were nice and spongy.

I then started playing more and ended up chucking clubs around in the wet, so I got some cord grips, which ended up with my nice soft accountants hands getting covered in blisters. So now I wear a glove to prevent this and have gone back to cord free grips.

It takes time and helps to slow down the play.

How??? I take mine off when I'm walking down the fairway. I put it back on when walking to the next tee.

No hold up there.

I imagine play would be held up as the non glove wearer has to clamber up the tree to retrieve his six iron that he inadvertantly let go of......

I'm surprised that the Pro golfers don't have the fingers ticked in and the sponsors logo sticking out over the rear pocket.

Or, leave the fingers sticking out & have a different sponsors logo on each finger!

I put my glove in my back pocket and sometimes i guess it hangs. Suddenly i am a poser? great, however i do play rugby so hardly think that one little thing turns me into a complete twit. :D ;)

And on the glove no glove thing? i take my glove off when my hands sweat for comfort and when im within a hundred yards of the hole :)
