Hi everyone. I am fairly new to the game, been playing on and off for a few years. Playing a bit more seriously now and play off a 16 handicap.
I keep hearing my playing partners talking about golf fitting, shafts ect. I have zero clue about any of this. It interests me if it can majorly improve my game however like people say it can.
I’ve seen a golf pro quote £200 for a complete golf fitting. My question is, if I get this done can I take the information away with me and shop about or do they put pressure on you to buy from them?

I went to ping for a fitting driver, irons and putter 90mins £30.
Depends where you live.
You are paying for his time and his expense buying equipment etc.
So you have no obligation to buy anything from him But he may offer a discount off the clubs.

Most fittings I've had will charge you for the fitting process. If you buy the clubs from the fitter on the day it is usually taken off the price of the clubs. If you take the information away you get charged the cost of the fitting
