Hopefully none of you have needed to do this, but if you have, I'd like your input.

I had my car stolen a couple of weeks ago, golf clubs were in the boot.

As part of the car insurance claim I'm covered up to £200 of personal belongings, obviously won't replace what I had but it's maybe a set of irons, putter and a bag so I can get playing again.

On the form I've been sent it asks for the age of the item, from whom it was purchased and the cost new.

Other than my rangefinder, everything of any value in my golf bag, including the bag itself, was bought second hand.

This will give me a lot of problems in regards to attaching receipts to the claim, but would you list the 'cost new' price, as the price I paid, and the 'age' as how long I'd owned the clubs, or would you give approx brand new prices, and how old the clubs really are?

Thanks in advance.
