Morning everyone, since I first picked up a club in September 2007 I have played fairly regularly and the clubs lived in the kitchen.

Fairly regularly that is up until last winter when I hurt my back and the clubs stayed in the corner from mid Nov to March/April time.

My back is a long term thing and with the cold/wet weather I am suffering again so to remove temptation I put the clubs in the loft.

Woke up this mornign and it is freezing and thought the loft will be even colder and will be for the next few months.

Will the extra cold in the loft be a problem for the clubs or should they be fine?

Morning Spoff

Only problem I could possibly foresee is if it gets really cold up there then you might get some condensation forming on the metal. This could lead to some rusting over time but if you wrap them up nice and snug with some old blankets or such like then there shouldnt be a problem.

Hopefully they'll only be up there a few months, I took the head covers off because it felt like the right thing to do - I'll dive back up there tonight with some old towels and tuck them in properly!

Dont forget the night time story!

...and a glass of milk.

After hibernation an old set of cavities will emerge as a set of shiney muscle back blades... and flutter away

You'll only get condensation forming on them if you take them from cold into a warmer room, or if you get a rapid temperature rise in your loft with fresh air coming in to bring in new moisture.
Shouldn't be a problem.

Mine are stored in the back of my van just in case any of my jobs are cancelled i can always sneak a few holes in, fail to prepare etc
