Hi All

I'm thinking of buying a set of irons from golfbidder.co.uk

Has anybody bought irons from them? how would you view their rating system?

The irons i'm looking at are rated 8.....

Ive bought off them was very happy quality service and description and rating very accurate if anything over critical.
Never heard of bad feedback regarding condition from them go for it!

I have used Golfbidder a lot and only live 15 minutes away from their main shop so have usually gone to collect the clubs. They also have a no quibble 7 day trial which I have used when buying a couple of clubs and going to test them at the range (pretty much over the road) and then taking back the one that I haven't got on with.

Wouldn't have any problems buying off them again in the future.

They tend to underrate if anything so clubs are usually better than the description. I have bought from them before and had no issues.

Have bought off them a couple of times. As others have said, they tend to be over critical in their ratings and I think the quality is better than expected. I'd happily use them again.

I've bought from Golfbidder several times and whilst there prices can sometimes be a little high, their serviceis excellent. Agree with earlier post too, all the clubs I've had from them are always in better condition than that which is listed. Plus, you know you're buying genuine goods.

They are pretty strict paying out what they quote against people's self marking scheme, so they should be pretty much as described. Plus with their 7 day returns, other than the cost of the postage, its a good way to try something I think.

They even advertise the fact you can try out a club and send it back for a no questions refund......as long as its in the same condition you bought it. It's basic DS regulations but they are using it smartly for marketing

I got my last set of irons from them and can't fault them at all. Probably better than the 8 they were rated as as well. It's a bit more expensive going through them but you get the added security.

thanks for all the replies chaps

sounds like they have got a lot of happy customers

going to put my order in now, a new set of mizzies on there way !

Well my first impression of them as a seller is not very good.

I'm looking to sell my Mizuno MP-CLK 23* Hybrid, only used a handful of times so is as-new and they offered a paltry £25.00.

No wonder they can sell bargains if they buy stuff for a pittance.

Is that the same MP-CLK hybrid that I bought brand new a couple of months ago for £59 from the driving range over the road from their shop? When the gear drops that low, what else can they do? Try From Tee 2 Green in Banstead or via eBay for an alternative quote if you aren't happy.

As a buyer and seller I've never had a problem with them.

They are really good in terms of customer service and quality, but like has been mentioned, their part ex rates are pretty low. I found usedping.co.uk better, never used affordable golf, but seems like its worth a shot...

Only had one dealing with them, they weren't interested in my Ping Anser Slotline, not the cheapest by any stretch either.

I've only ever sold to them and did so by going to their store in person. Always got at least £50 more than they quoted on line but haggling in person. Nice guys in shop make it easy to deal with them

Great service...bought irons from there. Rated 7 which seemed over critical as i could'nt see antthing wrong with them!..
