Golf Balls

Noodles are quite good. I haven't bought any, but I've found loads (something tells me there is someone at mine who likes to lose a sleeve a game!).

Oi, I don't know what you talking 'bout.

I never even been to Shropshire

( But if you want to find more, I can point you to a few woods and bushes round here where there might be one or two...( or several :o ) )

I do like the bridgestone E5 & E6 and as 3 piece instead of 2 piece, I find they feel more comfortable when i hit them.
And as the others have said they're cheap at 20 quid a dozen.

My rule would be this:
If you lose more than 4+ a round, buy lake/reclaimed balls.
2-3: Bridgestone E5/6, Srixon A3333, Nike vapour

You defintely need feel around the greens. Using a rock hard ball may get you extra distance but that's no good if your ball goes careering through the green because you've got no spin on the ball.

Years ago a mate of mine would only use Pinnacles or Molitors as he lost 5 or 6 a round. I gave him a dozen Z-Balata's (remember them?) for his birthday one year and when he started to use them he suddenly started to only lose 1 or 2 a round. He didn't lose distance in fact he gained a few yards but approaches into greens were much better.
So if you can use at least a "mid" ball like the NXT's or AD333's or DX2's as I reckon they will help your game no end.

apropos of nothing...... when I've played with 'pebbles' I seem to lose them with alarming frequency, but when I use Srixon Soft Feel's I tend to get full round in or maybe lose just one. They are slightly less for distance, but seem to stay out of trouble a bit more, at least for me.

The reason you don't lose them is 'cause they are shockingly lacking in "pep". 15% less distance is about 30% less likely to dive into the rough like a startled rabbit.

(ooh, I am naughty).

My 11 yr old uses them.....about right for her 50 mph swing speed.

I've been using srixon ad333's for around a month and have had a few rounds with either not losing any or just 1,had a new box of 12 and still got 4 in my bag.I'm not one to get carried away with thinking which balls suit my game but since im not losing many im pretty sure i'll be sticking with them! I am playing a lot more consistantly now and the penny seems to have 'dropped',also have some soft feels and havn't noticed any shortage of drives as some on here with those!

Normally use proVs, but have got fed up with my lack of form recently. Switched to AD333s, but am losing them like
I am giving them away. Found a srixon distance ball today, with 6 holes to go and parred in with it. It isn't the ball, it is you. That said, the game conversation turned to whether a ladies bum could ever be too big, and for some reason my game just clicked. Weird.
