You’re wrong. Ripping them off somebody else’s 2 year old bag is far more enjoyable.

I've never liked the rain hoods that come with bags, even less so with the full bag covers.

I only ever buy waterproof bags now and I use the TourDri 2 in 1 Bag Hood/Towel, it's similar to the Titleist StaDry Hood/Towel mentioned at the start of this thread but the clip is in the perfect place to allow me to attached to the top of my bag or top trolley strap and drape over my clubs. There is enough weight to the hood that I've never had an issue with the wind when in use. Also when it's wet, I personally find it easier not having to deal with zips. If I was being a little picky it could possibly be a little larger but it's just enough to cover my clubs
