Golf academy??

As the title says,are they worth the money, I can join a local academy here with state of the art facilities for €200 inc tuition and use of all the equipment. Is it money well spent or would I be better off keeping my money in my pocket?

How much tuition will that get you? You would have to weigh that up against what you would get from your local pro for the same money.

It's not only the tuition though,they have every factility and piece of equipment there with chipping areas and bumker's and PGA regulation putting greens. My local pro charges €25 for 30-40 minute lesson so if I weigh it up that way the academy is worth the money. There is also a 20% discount on green fee's on their 3course's(1 of which is in the top 10 in Ireland) and in the pro shop

Ya 200 a year,it goes by calander year so I might even get it abit cheaper now though. Doesn't sound like a bad deal but I'm just wondering would I use it now with the evenings getting longer so I can't get 9holes in after work.
