Played Boavista, Gramacho and Vilamora Millennium. They were all in fantastic condition and a pleasure to play. Only thing is they do seem to be a little more expensive than Spain.
Orlando Florida
I have been about 20 times The golf courses are different to Scotland but they are affordable.
Diamond Back was about $35 Mystic Dunes about $120 these include the buggie and hundreds of courses in between you do not have to pay top $ to enjoy your golf.
For me playing in Tenerife, was just pure joy, courses always in immaculate condition, staff couldnt do enough for you, stunning views, and as a bertie bonus, the sun is always shining.
Has to be the US for me, played the three courses at Reunion Resort and also one of the courses at Champions Gate, all of them amazing. I enjoyed everything about the US, was very inexpensive and great service.
I have played in Spain, Portugal and Tenerife. Always in February, but the weather in Portugal especially at this time of year can't be guaranteed. The last time we were in the Algarve, there had been a hard frost and the grasses couldn't cope.so the courses were very poor. Laterly we have been going further south to Tenerife where the weather is warmer, but last year with the weak pound against the euro it was very expensive and the place was dead.
This year, (Next week in fact) we are off to Orlando for the week, with six rounds of golf and accommodation it is cheaper than Europe!
