My main goal is to get to a single figure handicap. After not playing seriously for a while I got back into golf in November 2014 and joined my local club. They started me on 17 (and i went up to 18 after a few comps in 2015) and I finished the season on 11.0. I'm pretty confident that there's still a bit left in me to get down further and I've never been single figures so it would be a real achievement. GM and Mizuno are going to make sure I get there - although I've still got to hit the ball myself!
I'm not seeing it myself, I always thought I looked like Robert Redford but, as I'll be featuring my best side in a future GM, you can decide for yourself. Please be kind, no references to John Hurt or Eric Banner as their film alter egos please.
Congratulations to those chosen - I really enjoy following these types of stories. It does look a bit like they are all at a decent level already - if I'd entered my modest aim would have been to break 100!
Cripes, and I thought my goal of shooting a level par round was ambitious! Sounds like an epic year ahead, dead jealous but looking forward to seeing if they achieve their goals, very interesting experiment...
