GM Club testing long term updates.

I may of missed them but to people who have had clubs sent to them by GM or attended fitting days, can we have some more updates as to how your getting on with them or if you still have the club/clubs in the bag.

I got the 910 D3 through the AG promotion back in March-ish (I think?)

Still in the bag, although it is not the most consistent/forgiving driver. That said, when you hit it well it goes like a rocket.

I am starting to think about changing it but not done much about it yet.

I hit the Mizuno hybrid with the Fubuki shaft so well that I am seriously considering getting one of the MP drivers with that shaft in it aswell.

Got fitted for the R11 back in Feb. Still have it in the bag and love it when I'm not swinging like a total knob (i.e. not very often!). But I find it a great club and the white doesn't bother me at all.

Headcover drill practice over the winter is needed (ALOT of it - most of my range time will involve this drill and a 7 iron for the next 2 months) to sort my swing out proper.

I had a putter fitted at AG in June.

I had a purple patch with it to start with and dropped 3 shots off my handicap. It cooled down for a while and I got a shot back, but I'm starting to putt a lot better with it again over the last few rounds.

It will be in the bag for a long time to come.

I've had my Wilson Staff FG Tours for just over a year now and they've brought my handicap down from 10.4 to 7.4 so they'll be staying in the bag for some time to come.. :smirk:

I got fitted for a putter in June also, a TM Corza Ghost

it's still in the bag, I have changed the grip to a Lamkin midsize. on it's day it's pretty deadly from 5 feet in, some days not so hot. It must be the club, it can't be me ;)

I love the white finish, I would consider another TM Ghost next spring, Maybe a Ghost Spider.

I have the Ghost Spider. Great putter, it has a different feel from the last spider I had and that took a few rounds to get used to, but I think its awesome now ... although with the current weather it does require a lot of cleaning and the shape is a pain to clean the grass out of :)

On a similar theme another Golf forum (***Magic) also had a question about the use of clubs after fitting. They had a cleveland driver fitting comp, and the take up of the driver after the finish has been pretty poor to be honest ... although the fitting process did seem to be more lazy than exhaustive ;)

I still have my UnderArmour cold gear base layer. It still hugs my moobs perfectly and certainly helps to enhance my Homer Simpson spare tyre. Not the most flattering of garments but functional.

The GG shirt still looks smart.

My Hugo Boss jumper is STILL in the ironing basket awaiting the wifes attention! (I'm brave on here!)
