I've never really been sure what hand I should wear a glove on. I'm left handed. But I play golf right handed. My gut is to put it on my weaker hand. (Right) Any advice would be welcome.

The normal practice is wear the glove on the leading hand (the one nearest the target). In a standard Vardon grip nearly all of this hand is in contact with the grip and the other hand has only about 50-60% in contact with the grip.

I was taught that this arm/hand is the power side and the other arm/hand controls the direction.

Put it on your left hand. This is the hand that must not allow the club to move around as you swing & the glove helps to strengthen your grip. It is my view that the bottom hand, can't help but move as you apply the power on the downswing. As long as the top hand is hanging on tight, that's fine.
