In 2010/11 when I worked in Canary Wharf, I used to get on the Central Line out at Loughton and change at Stratford. That meant I got on a virtually empty train... Giving up seats for ladies never happened, giving a seat to a old person was also rare and less rare for disabled people...just!

I was so uncomfortable with this I used to stand all the way to avoid the situation.... I offered a seat to a woman of similar age to me on an early occasion and got a gob full of abuse for being a sexist.

Londoners. All bonkers. Or is that City Dewellers in general... it’s all too stressful, they need to get out of there occasionally

Think it's probably to do with Stratford...
I offered my seat to a young lady there, a while back, and rather impolitely got informed "it's the 21st century don'tcha know!"...
So I offered it to another lady who got informed, as she took up my offer, "you're letting the side down sister"...
It's not a world my grandparents would recognise...

Yea, I saw him post earlier. Relieved to finally see that he didn't actually top himself after Wenger left.

You can't say that!!!:censored:
I got an infraction for an "inappropriate comment" about HJS when it looked like the new style forum had wiped out peoples post count.

Stuart was a nice guy had the pleasure of playing with him a couple of times, like you say the cliques got short shrift from him. in that way the forum is worst place without him
Yes the forum has two cliques. Those that want to get along with each other, attend meets, join in the banter, make friends and get the most out of the forum. And then those that just want to cause disruption.

Bloody hell - how can I be in both?!!! 😂😂😂

Yep it seemed the little Scottish Clique that formed when he arrived didn’t seem to help him out and prob encouraged him to post to look to get a reaction. It’s no surprise the place is less hostile since he left

i think you are missing the whole point of a this forum , which is to discuss golf . don't see you starting many interesting topics or even getting involved in discussions only trolling with your little clique. Cabby started more posts in the short time he was here that you have even contributed to in your 7 years. and as for meets what precisely has that got to do with anything. i suggest you read Mike H post about Trolling and flaming then disappear back under your stone
