Well, we've all enthused about what we wish to receive for Xmas, but what are you giving? (either materially or otherwise).

For me, I'm about to set off for a 240 mile round trip to my birthtown in South Yorkshire to visit my Dad who is placed in a psychiatric unit. It will drain further positivity away from my body, but deep down I'm sure he will appreciate it, and hope to make a little improvement in his condition.

Then driving my Mum back to Geordieland for Xmas with her granddaughters; it will be a tough xmas for Mum who lost her partner earlier this year.

And lots of nice presents for our 2 daughters, the youngest has just turned 8 & is now dubious about Santa, but we are still working on her to still believe! :)

We're doing all the catering (food, drink, everything) for the whole family from Christmas Eve through to the 27th. It will be bedlam but at least we are in control of it and can drink whatever we like.

Merry Christmas one and all.

Off to see my mum on Monday. Chemo is really taking it out of her and she's lost a lost of her positivity. Apparently the hair is going too which I' not looking forward to seeing. Still, plenty of people in the world in a worse position than my and my mum. As long as we have each other (and my wife of course) and our love remains unbroken there isn't anything we can't do
