I'm looking for the best way to stop drafts coming under the wooden double door from my kitchen to the sitting room. There a gap of about an inch at the bottom of the doors and there's a decent draft blowing through it so what's the best way to stop it without using one of those foam draft blockers?

Get double doors that fit??? :p

Or, do they still sell them draft excluders that screw on to the bottom of doors???

Ha ha or maybe a builder who can fit doors properly!!!

I know there are things that fit on the bottom of doors to block drafts, which are the best/easiest to fit?

I'd get a screw on brush strip available from any diy shop, they just screw on to the doors and stop 90% of the draft for you.

I would be wondering where the kitchen draft is coming from in the first place.

In the past I have used strips of rubber screwed to the door or even use those foam pipe covers, cut a bit out and slip them under the door.

So how do I figure out where the draft is coming from? Could it not just be coming in one of the vents in the windows?

how about round the pipes where they come through the walls? any big gaps use expanding foam

lot of crawling holding strips of paper or a smoke candle
