getting a game tomorrow :)

Played there today cracking course ,full course, wee bit of water not much, cracking day with good company.

What it cost you Steve? Great, proper golf course,no mats I take it?

It was £10 with gcd think its £32 normally ,yes mate mats from the fairway only didn't use it much, played from the back pegs as well superb course first time i've played it.

Alan

The New is a cracking course with some long par 4s ,for me i'd find it difficult to compare them with the Old and its history but i would say The New is more difficult ,2 cracking Par 3's over 220.

Thourghly enjoyed both courses and looking forward to playing the Jubilee in June at there open.

Cheers Steve,

Despite staying in Fife I haven't played either The Old, New or Jubilee. Have walked them numerous times but never got round to actually playing. Hopefully rectify that in the New Year.

To be honest i found The New course more of a test ,i think the locals would back me up there, thourghly enjoyed both.
I'm the same its the first time i've played them after walking then hundreds of times.

Steve, gear yourself up for the June Open then cos the Jubilee is the toughest of the 3 by far.It is a superb course with one of the toughest last half dozen holes you will play anywhere.

So i heard Alan,i'm looking forward to it ,i didnt play that well today to be honest,i've got this feckin big blister on my left thumb which is giving me grief, big fanny i know :o.Still hit some good shots and holed some decent putts.

Are you guys coming up to play in the open?.

when i played St Andrews a couple of years ago the Old was the easiest of the 3. Old about 8 under, new 3 under and jubilee about 15 over but it was windy for the jubilee. :D
