Just got a season ticket for my muni and to my suprise it only cost £250 for the year. Apparently they have an intermediate cost for people aged 22-29. As i am 23 i have another 6 years of cheap ass golf left!!!!

My local is £370 and I can pay in instalments, my step son who is a student is only £65

The course is good and challenging and great for beginners at the same time, but like all Muni's it gets very busy in the summer, it was very busy last sat and I had to wait 30mins to start my back 9.

Mines £460 until I'm 60.....about 23 years until I get a discount!!
£250....not bad, that'll work out cheaper than the muni I was at.....ended up spending much more than a private club.

The nearest muni to me charges over £700 for a season ticket but it is rated as one of the best munis around (Thorpe Wood).

My current club offers a 30% discount for members 35 and under so this year is only costing me £350.00. They also started my membership immediately though it runs to next April
