After Wednesdays good round I've received an email from Howdidido. I've been cut to 22.0 and I'm chuffed to bits ! No big shakes for most of the guys on here but it's a bloody good start to my golfing year.

However, I'm a little confused how you got cut by 3.7

Mostly observation I think Bob. I've scored well in the winter stablefords but not been pulled.I've mentioned before that my run in the last 5 Weds comps have been 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a fourth but I still couldn't get a cut because of us using fairway mats. I played with the club captain, vice captain and rabbits captain a few weeks ago during a weekend comp in horrendous conditions and came 3rd in comp (albeit with 27 pts) when no one out of 24 golfers got above 34 points and the pro put a good word in for me because he knows that in our mid week friendlies I regularly score 42-47 points.
I'm definitely not going to question the handicap sec about it, I'm a happy bunny.
