Sorry if this is in the wrong place.....

Quick question

When you wish to enter a general score, you obviously have to have an attester. Does this person also have to enter a score or does their score, that you enter, not count unless they have started a scorecard.

Your marker doesn't need to be putting a card in as well. They just need to have access to whatever app you're using to upload yours - so you can put their name as a marker and they can approve it.

They neither need to have put a card in themselves or to have played. However they must ber a person acceptable to your committee and must have witnessed your round.

I know, its almost like some people just want a handicap to suit their purpose, whether that is vanity or being in the prizes at opens

But alas, golf is a game of integrity and no-one would do that
