Gas hob problem

Got a new gas hob cooker and all good up until tonight when it wont light.

All the ignitions work but no gas is coming through (LPG bottles, full ) any ideas ?

Is there a tap on the bottle and/or the supply pipe?

Yup, all checked and in the right positions. Was working fine yesterday.

Has it got a glass lid on it, if so make sure it's pushed all the way back as it will most likely have as gas shut off valve attached.

No glass lid. Is there likely to be a reset switch for the flame safety device hidden away somewhere?

Have you got 2 LPG bottles on a changeover valve?

If you have a changeover valve, see if it has a clear plastic cap on the top that unscrews, the upso/opso might have tripped, if so unscrew the car and lift the plunger up.

Brilliant Noble, that was was the problem, thank you very much. Why it should have tripped , no idea as only had the cooker and bottles for 3 weeks.

No probs, glad to help mate. It's a safety valve in case of either too much gas pressure or too little that's all
