Garmin G60 advice

I am hoping someone with a G60 can help.

I am looking to upgrade my current G6 to a G60. I like the watch features that the G6 just does not have.
BUT, I have concerns that the "plays like" feature which gives elevation information would render the device non compliant.

Can this be disabled? I don't want to pay a considerable amount and have a non compliant device!

i am sure you can switch it off. I have the garmin g8 handheld and it has the plays like setting and it can be switched off.

Just checked the user manual for the g60 and it has a tournament mode to switch off slope and pin pointer

My home course has little elevation either way, so it would serve no purpose even in bounce games
