Garage tiling/flooring

The Mrs thinks we need to tile the garage as we receive the sun late in the day and wants it tidying up a tad. The size is about 5 metres by 5 metres with a couple of metres square on the back so all in all 29 metres squared.

Have to agree with her as it is pretty good being sat in there with a couple of beers when the su is going down

Anyone any suggestions?

No because most modern garages are too small for cars.

What type of flooring is the best for the garage? Vinyl or tiles. We have a budget of £500 for the flooring which is 29 metres squared.

We need to have some sort of floor tiles. Not sure what is best. Our budget for 29 metres squared is about £500. The car also goes I the garage each night

I'd probably go for a natural tile,maybe slate. Obviously it'll have to be a solid bed or the tiles will crack due to the weight of the car.

Seal the floor with some floor/concrete paint then just roll out a nice rug when the car isn't there.

Hard to beat ceramic tiles, and as it's 'just' a garage try your local tile shops for clearance deals.

We had oldish carpet but 'she' is not happy. She wants dark grey tiles.

We also want a TV plus dimmer lights. Hoping like in San An Ibiza we will have each year an opening and closing party!
