Gap between clubhead and hosel

Hi, I have ping G10 driver and have noticed a gap appearing between the hosel and clubhead, only a few millimetres.
Should i be worried that the head is going to fly off at some point? Do i need to get it fixed or can i continue to play with it as normal.

I guess you mean the black ferrule which covers the area where shaft meets head? If so that's really just a cosmetic element to tidy the area up visually. You could try and glue it back if it will push down enough.

If you warm up the feral it should just push back on, it's only cosmetic.

Yeah thats the part I mean. Good to know its just cosmetic. Was getting worried about the head flying off. Hopefully get another couple of years out the club then

Little bit of hot water over the ferrule and it should slip back in to place.

If you want to check it is not the shaft coming out of the head just grab the head in one hand and the shaft in the other and twist hard in both directions.
