Game Sheffield area on Saturday 6th Oct

Hi All

Me & a mate are staying in Sheffield for the weekend & are looking for a game this saturday but are having difficulty in getting a morning tee time. Are there any members locally who fancy a game & can invite us or can recommend somewhere we might get in. Budget is around £25 tee off mid-morning. Happy to travel 30 mins or so.

Gaz, try Bondhay in Worksop, It's a municipal but I found the course a good test, not expensive and the grub is decent too. Green fee around the £27 mark,

The best courses are Hallamshire, Hallowes, Abbeydale and Hillsborough, probably in that order. Other courses worth a visit are Worksop, Renishaw, Lees Hall and Dore & Totley. Further afield, Lindrick is really good.

However, all will be more than £25 and probably members only until the afternoon.

Municipal wise, Tinsley and Beauchief are nice. They get very busy though.

Thanks guys. I tried Bondhay first but can,t get on until the afternoon. Also tried some of the others listed but had the same problem. I've booked a teetime at Rother Valley, it doesn,t look anything special but that was all we could get.
