This Thursday, 6th October I have arranged a game with Fish at Coventry Golf Club. (Fish is a member there). Never played there myself but I have only heard good things about the place.

There is room for a couple of people to join us if anybody wants to make up a four ball. We aim to tee off at about 11:00 to 11:30 ish.

Cannot be earlier as I am only leaving Weymouth at around 6:30 and need to allow for slow traffic etc.

Wish this had been posted a few days back. Drove down to Hemel yesterday, and will be driving back up Thursday

Firstly, a great big thanks to Fish for hosting me today. Really enjoyed the course and the company. Never played here before and really liked it, some really nice holes. If I could putt I would be dangerous. I managed 33 points with 4 three putts but Fish won the day with 36 points. I managed a level par front nine (our back nine) which I was happy with having never seen the course before.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

For those playing HFH, you have no chance if Fish plays the same as he did today.

I really enjoyed yesterday Steve, you were very good company and I'm pleased you enjoyed my course.

I wish I could drive so consistently like you, if I could couple that with my current short game I reckon I could half my current handicap! I drove pretty well other than a couple of early tired forced swings which meant 2 no scoring holes but then I settled into my game to return 7 pars and 36 points, your level par on our front 9 was pretty impressive.

Thank you for the donation of a dozen balls for H4H's

It's alright Steve he'll go off like a train, then blow up in the middle like every year
