There was the tale of the 75 year old that went for a few lessons at the Hamilton driving range
But sadly he had terrible eyesight and absolutely no coordination and just couldn't hit the ball .
The pro said maybe at your age you should think of bowls.
The old guy wasn't for being put off so he booked lessons at the nearby Clydeway range.
After about 30 minutes the new pro said , sorry but i really don't think I can help you.
The old guy glumly said I must be the worst golfer in the world, the Pro said no!! , seemingly there was an old guy at Hamilton last week :rofl:
