The recommendation from the forums when I first joined was to have 3 IDs, which I used to have, one for buying, one for selling and one for the forums.
The forum one was because there used to be a lot of auction wrecking if you upset someone on it.
I now use one for the very good quality stuff I sell and one for the not so good. Experience has taught me that you cannot be too honest about the condition of some stuff but there are a lot of bidders who expect near new quality at a knockdown price.

Every thing I list I list with a very full description detailing all the faults. What I hate is when people receive the goods and complain about faults that were detailed in the listing (with photos) and then have the cheek to ask to return the item at my expense and get a full refund.
One guy once tried it on when I sold him pearl and grade 1 Prov1s because he did not like the box I packed them in, Complained because I had not sent them in Prov1 box.
