I've had a new digital aerial fitted in the loft and I've got a new, HD ready TV in the bedroom.

I've auto-tuned the TV today.

Why don't I have any of the free HD channels? BBC HD, ITV HD, etc?

Do I need to purchase something to facilitate this or have I tuned it incorrectly?

As above, is the HD built in? Freeview and FrfeeviewHD are different and HD Ready just means that the TV is capable of displaying at a resolution of 480i or above (not very HD).

Would check the TV model number on line for it's full spec and that should tell you if it's FreeviewHD built in or not. If not, then you will need a FreeviewHD box as BS says.
