Anyone played here recently? Any good?

Formby golf club is a stunning golf course.
Not played it this year but it is always in good condition.
It’s not cheap but worth the fees.
Tough test of your game.

The hotel or the course?
The course is nice that’s all ,for £27 it’s worth it.
It’s out of town a bit so if your staying overnight stay somewhere in Southport.
You have
Birkdale, S&A and Hillside close by.
But these cost a lot more than Formby Hall.

Formby Hall is good for £27, gets overshadowed by the illustrious neighbours but still a nice course. Par 3 course is good fun too if you can fit it in.

I used to play it regularly when I lived in Liverpool. nice test of golf and good mix of holes.


Would recommend if you are in the area and not looking to break the bank.
