Form at last??

After a few weeks (at least) of knowing my game was there but not being able to score, I finally managed a decent round!

Had a medal comp today and to cut a potentially biblical story short, I was 6 over gross at the turn (41) and came in with 46 (including an 8), resulting in an 87 (nett 66). A new pb at Cirencester and only 1 shot off my best ever score so I'm feeling very happy. The main difference today was very few mistakes resulting in 7 pars. Did lose a ball OB and left a few putts short but overall, a very satisfying afternoon in the sunshine.

My patience and practice time seem to be paying off as I hit some great shots around the greens leaving me with some tap-ins.

Just hope I can keep things going, especially with the Pro-Am at Bowood this coming week!

Cheers Tiger - I'm certainly a happy boy tonight. Already on my third cup of tea!

As for a cut, depending on the CSS, it might take me down to 20. I'm still waiting for my h/c to be released by my old club though but have been told todays card will be taken into account as part of the process. Hopefully find out towards the end of the week what the hell is going on, as it's been nearly 2 months since I joined!!!
