foot prints

Hello,

With all the wet conditions we currently have i was wondering if you get and sort of relief from foot print impressions in the rough, not just pushed over grass but physical impressions.

In most cases would it not even be a better lie than normal?

The phrase "play the ball as it lies" comes to mind, stick with that and you cannot go far wrong, unless its OB

You would get relief from any visible water not the footprint.......

But at this time of isn't there usually some water in these footprints where the depression the foot makes fills with standing water.

We have preferred lies (lift clean and cheat to some) through the green in the winter season so it wouldnt be a problem. Check on the day that your course doesnt have it set, if it does then you can take a preferred lie.

....if there is mate then you should be there as the rest of the course is under 2ft of water!!!! :lol:
