Or rather Toe's to be exact!

I've developed an awful habit of hitting the toe of my irons on an almost regular basis.

The ball just shoots straight right and I've made divots that are inside the ball (if that makes sense).

As you can imagine it's rather soul destroying when your second shot leaves you no further forward!

Never seem to do it on the range just comes out when I play on the course.

Anyone had this? If so what caused it?

Any drills to try and cure it?

Swinging too hard can cause you to pull your arms in and toe sometimes, also causes tops.

I would video the swing first and see what is going on and then see a pro

Are you sure its off the toe and not the dreaded sh**k,maybe you are standing to far away from the ball, try getting a bit nearer.....

I would love a dose of those at the moment.

Cheers for the tips gents.

Pro booked for the end of the month so we'll see if he can fix it.

Are the divots pointing left of target? - could be an indication you are cutting across the ball?

Or are they parallel to the target line? - stood a fraction too far away?
