hit it a little fat manged to get 100yds with my 3H duffed my next two shots 4th shot over back of green 5th chipped on the green and then 3 putted!

not good! damn nerves

overall i played ok not the best i have played but i was happy with the round scored 10points playing off 18 finished all my holes to submit a card which i shot in 121

best drive of the day 270yard strait drive middle of the fair way just a same it clicked to late....18th hole par 5 lol,

Dude, sorry to hear it didnt go to plan, maybe next time its a 5 iron?! Thats it, first one out of the way, next one wont be so bad but you'll still feel the nerves.

will still take the hybrid off the tee, i am confident with it just little unlucky to hit it fat, and i play off 28 but as i havent an offcial handicap just yet they put me down for 18 i assume its to stop dishonesty, my first card as poor as it is, has been handed in and signed by a commitee member

my PB is 101, best rounds after that are 107,108,112 and hit a few low 120 rounds

and yes they did laugh as did i lol, great guys to play with good talk very helpful and understanding was a pleasure cant wait for next weeks meet,

Well done for going for it Richie. I played my first comp on Sunday but wasn't allocated any kind of hcap, just put down my strokes for each hole to get my card in. I shot 30 over and the nerves were a killer. It will only get easier.

Playing my 2nd comp on Sunday having had a 23 holes this week of practise.

Don't worry mate keep your head up and I'm sure things will get better! I'm dreading my first comp, I'm one to really suffer with nerves! but just got to get out there and get involved

i havent an offcial handicap just yet they put me down for 18

Ah I get it, thought it was a bit low but assume once they see a few more cards you'll get your real h/c and then the fun really starts as you try to bring it down! All I can say is fair dues for handing the card in, you sound like an honest player and as long as you continue like that you'll have the respect of all the jokers who laughed on the first and more!

just looked at the score card i actually scored 13 points, and as things turn out 13 is my super lucky number so it means only good things from here on out!
